The 12u Regulators kicked off their first travel ball tournament in impressive fashion, showcasing their skills and determination. Despite a challenging day of softball, the team displayed outstanding performance, finishing with a remarkable 4-1 record. Even after a tough defeat to Ponte Vedra, with a score of 10-2, the Regulators rallied together and delivered a stunning victory over the Ponte Vedra Lightning team in the championship game.

In a dominant display, McKinleigh D pitched a flawless game, not allowing a single run as the North Florida Regulators 12U triumphed over the Ponte Vedra Hurricanes with a score of 4-0 on Saturday. D. exhibited exceptional control, conceding just two hits throughout the game.
The North Florida Regulators 12U wasted no time getting their offense going in the first inning. Both Powell and Crocker showcased their plate discipline, drawing walks and displaying smart base running, swiftly advancing into scoring positions. A well-executed sacrifice bunt by Annaka R brought home Powell, followed by another sacrifice bunt by Juliana C, bringing in Crocker, extending the lead for the North Florida Regulators 12U 2-0 in the first inning.
Ponte Vedra Hurricanes showed some resilience in the first inning with a double by one of their players, demonstrating their offensive capabilities.
McKinleigh led the North Florida Regulators 12U to victory from the pitcher’s mound. She delivered an exceptional performance, allowing only two hits and no runs in four innings of play, striking out three batters and not issuing any walks.
